I met Gary in February 2008 at Rich Schefren’s conference in Orlando. The final speaker was Gary Vaynerchuk. Take a look at a 4-minute highlight reel of Gary’s speech from this conference in 2008.

After this speech, I wanted to get a quick word with Gary, I was flying home the next day and I thought this would be a great chance to pick the brains of this guy. I was not the only one with this idea…
When I returned back to the UK I began researching Gary and found he was the host of Wine Library TV and his daily episodes were worth watching even though I don’t drink wine!

Moving to present day in 2009 I still check up on “garyvee” as it was he who also introduced me to the world of twitter and the potential it has.

Gary is a real advocate to online video and the business related videos he publishes at GaryVaynerchuk.com are immense and I have learnt many lessons about business from him.
He has an expression, “Crush It!”, meaning to basically be the best in your niche/market…  – Is that a correct definition, Gary?

Gary is also an ambassador for doing what your passion is and earning money along the way and his new book, Crush It!: Why Now is the Time to Cash in on Your Passion, is dubbed to be a stepping stone to helping you achieve just that.
